NSYNC formed in 1996 and released its first album in 1998. The self-titled album went on to sell 10 million copies. In 2000, the group released its sophomore effort No Strings Attached. The album sold a million copies in its first of release alone. The record also became the most popular album of the year and sold almost 10 million copies.

The band's most popular member, Justin Timberlake, is set to perform at the MTV Video Music Awards. According to the New York Post, the 32-year-old will then be joined by J.C. Chasez, Lance Bass, Joey Fantone and Chris Kirkpatrick.

On Aug. 16 the band members supported Timberlake as he performed with Jay Z at the Sun Life Stadium in Miami. Timberlake's wife Jessica Biel and his mother, Lynn Harless, were also seen hanging with the guys in the VIP section.
