Winston is in for a little bit of heartbreak during season 3 of New Girl.

There is no one in the loft who seems to have an abundance of luck when it comes to love, and Lamorne Morris' character is no exception. Winston will apparently see the end of relationship with Daisy (Brenda Song, Suite Life on Deck) in the second episode of the new season.

"She will come back, I think, for one episode," said Lamorne Morris told TV Line. "It's so I can dump her! No, the writers would never let that happen. They'll make ME get dumped somehow."

While Winston has spent the first two season's of the show suffering through unemployment followed by a bad breakup, the reason for his sorrow this time around comes form the fact that Song will be departing New Girl for fellow Fox comedy, Dads.

However, TV Guide hints that the reason behind the breakup deals with Winston's need for exclusivity despite Daisy's desire to keep things casual.

"We get to see how that relationship ended," said executive producer Liz Meriwether, according to TV Guide.

Luckily for the loft's three other inhabitants, their relationships will be going slightly better. By episode three, Schmidt (Max Greenfield) will be the boyfriend  of either Cece (Hannah Simone) or Elizabeth (Merritt Wever) while Jess (Zooey Deschanel) and Nick (Jake Johnson) spend the first episode in Mexico.

New Girl will return to Fox on Sept. 17.
