Michelle Collins, who dons the role of Stella Price on the hit ITV soap, Coronation Street, will reportedly be making her exit from the program in April 2014.

According to the Huffington Post, the actress made the decision to not renew her current contract on the show.

On behalf of Corrie, Producer Stuart Blackburn wished Collins well in all of her future endeavors.

"We wish Michelle every happiness as she movesd on to pastures new."

The 52-year-old had been introduced to audiences as the landlady of Rovers Return in June 2011 alongside her daughter Eva Price (Catherine Tyldesley), and main squeeze Karl Munro (John Michie).

Sue Johnston, who played the part of Stella's mother Gloria, also made the choice to exit as well. Michie is also set to leave later in the year.

Interestingly enough, the site also stated that Liz McDonald will be regaining control of the Rovers when actress Beverley Callard comes back in the autumn.
