Melanie Griffith is going to be joining the cast of Hawaii Five-O for its upcoming fourth season playing the role of Detective Danny "Danno" Williams' (Scott Caan) mother.

CBS made the announcement on Tuesday via Twitter:

Griffith might get to share screen time with recurring guest star Christine Lahti, who plays mother to Danno's partner Steve (Alex O'Loughlin). Henry Ian Cusack will also be joining the show this season, reuniting him with Lost co-star Daniel Dae Kim. He will appear in premiere as a member of a terrorist group named National Liberation Movement, according to TVLine.

Another Lost cast member, Jorge Garcia, will be coming on board to portray the character of a brilliant conspiracy theorist. Garcia will be sharing scenes with Kim. Tin Daley (Private Practice) will be guest starring as a Texas ranger on one episode. Other guest stars this season include Rumer Willis, Terry O'Quinn, Chi McBride, Carol Burnett, Jorge Garcia, Henry Ian Cusick and Rebecca DeMornay.

McBride (Golden Boy) will play SWAT Captain Lou Grover, a character who appeared on the original 1970s program. The network also announced that the Jonas Brothers will be performing at the official premiere of the show in Hawaii on Sept. 26. This will also mark the maiden performance for the brothers in Hawaii.

TV Guide's Adam Bryant dropped a few hints on what to expect from the upcoming season:

"Have you seen Taken? Imagine Liam Neeson in a cowboy hat and snakeskin boots and you've got the tough customer who McGarrett (Alex O'Loughlin) and Danny (Scott Caan) will tumble with in an early episode, in which a trigger-happy Texan is trying to locate his kidnapped daughter."

Season 4 will premiere on CBS on Friday, Sept. 27.
