Adult-film actress Cameron Bay has identified herself as testing positive for HIV. That revelation led to the shutdown of porn production in the San Fernando Valley.

Mark Schechter, owner of the talent agency that represents her, Adult Talent Managers LA. Schechter said Thursday that it is more than likely she did not contract HIV while working on a set.

“As we are all trying to absorb this information and take appropriate actions as necessary, I urge each and every performer to refrain from any production until the moratorium is lifted industry wide,” he said in a statement. “We have already taken the necessary steps to cancel any and all shoots that are scheduled through ATMLA.”

Bay, who has worked in the industry since 2010, told adult industry website AVN that her most recent XXX shoot was July 31 and her shocking test result came back this week. Her Twitter account suggests the last project was a Kink.com flick with Xander Corvus.

Covus recently filmed an adult film with Anthony Weiner’s sexting buddy Sydney Leathers. Leathers and Covus allegedlly had unprotected sex in her film Weiner & Me.

After Bay came forward with her test results, Leathers  went to the doctor to make sure did not have HIV.

“I do not have HIV and have not been exposed to HIV regardless of the reports out there saying otherwise,” Leathers told the Daily News. “I took all the necessary precautions . . . and acted responsibly.”

In a statement to Gawker, Leathers said she and Corvus both were tested and deemed “healthy” before they filmed their Vivid Entertainment video together.

Bay told AVN Wednesday that she was undergoing follow-up testing to check whether her result was a false positive. The new results are expected Friday, Aug. 23.
