U.S. Open 2010 champion Rafael Nadal will be facing off against Ryan Harrison in round one of the U.S. Open 2013 on Monday.

Nadal is no. 2 in the World tennis rankings, and is looking to become no. 1 with a current streak of 15-0 in hard-court matches in 2013. The Spaniard had to sit out of the tournament last year due to a knee injury. He revealed his strategy going into this year's U.S. Open recently.

"I think you can play aggressive when you are playing well," Nadal said. "That's the first and important thing. It's true I'm trying to take the ball a little bit early, that I worked on my game to be a little bit more aggressive."

Nadal will be facing off against Harrison, who is no. 97 in the world rankings. Harrison, an American, is known for having a good first serve and forehand swing. However, he has not gone beyond the second round in the last three competitions he has participated in.

Nadal and Harrison already faced off this year at Indian Wells, Calif. Nadal beat Harrison in two sets, scoring 7-6, 6-2 in just 94 minutes.

The pair will be competing against each other at the Arthur Ashe Stadium at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in the Flushing-Meadows Corona Park in New York City. They will compete at 3 p.m. on Monday.
