Eminem goes old-school on his latest single Berzerk, released on Monday night.

"Let's take it back to straight hip-hop and start it from scratch. I'm about to bloody this track up, everybody get back," he raps. "That's why my pen needs a pad cause my rhymes on the rag, just like I did with addiction I'm about to kick it."

The song is produced by Rick Rubin, who worked with Kanye West on Yeezus, and it samples Billy Squier's 1981 hit The Stroke. The track revisits Eminem's exuberant energy that he displayed on previous albums, such as 2000's Marshall Mathers LPThe 40-year-old also included a few new celebrity targets: Khloe Kardashian and Kevin Federline.

"All I know is I fell asleep and woke up in that Monte Carlo with the ugly Kardashian. Lamar, oh sorry yo, we done both set the bar low," he raps, referring to reality star's husband Lamar Odom.

When he mentions Britney Spears' ex-husband, Eminem references his weight gain and raps: "So baby make just like K-Fed and let yourself go."

The song will appear on Eminem's upcoming eighth solo album The Marshall Mathers LP 2, which hits stores on Nov. 5. The rapper announced both the title and the release date at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday.

Slim Shady's forthcoming album will be his first release since 2010's Recovery. The album, which went multi-platinum and rose to No. 1 on Billboard, features the hits Not Afraid and the Rihanna collaboration Love The Way You Lie. Eminem's upcoming album will be different than his previous six, according to those in his circle. Alchemist, Eminem's DJ, told MTV in June that the album is "clearly going to further territories."

In the same month producer Mr. Porter was asked to describe what the album will sound like on Twitter and he replied, "Have not heard anything like it."
