Ewing has been labeled a guest star on the show despite the number of appearances he has made so far on-screen. Hyland revealed to Enstars on Sunday that he returns to Haley's life in season 5 of the ABC series, but he may face competition from another guy she gets close with.

"Haley's back at community college and Dylan is back for an episode, maybe two, I'm not sure," she said. "And there's gonna be a new guy in Haley's life."

The actress would not relay any more details about the love triange, but said the cast already completed filming three episodes of the ABC series.
