Harper was given three months to live after her diagnosis in March, but she's still going strong as August ends. She will allegedly be paired with professional dancer Tristan MacManus.
Former Scientologist Leah Remini is also going to be participating in the new season, according to TMZ. The King of Queens star will be making her dancing debut along with Jersey Shore star Snooki, who recently had her first baby. Other celebrities said to be cast on the new season are Saved By the Bell actress Elizabeth Berkley, Glee actress Amber Riley and The Voice co-host Christina Milian.
Jack Osbourne, of the famous Osbourne family, will also be participating, according to RadarOnline. Former football player Keyshawn Johnson is another celebrity thought to be participating in the new season.
Neither the DWTS producers nor ABC has commented on these potential celebrity participants.
The official cast of Dancing With the Stars will be released on Wednesday, Sept. 4 on Good Morning America. Season 17 of Dancing With the Stars will premiere on Monday, Sept. 16 at 8 p.m. on ABC.
