Two members of the CSI: Crime Scene Investigation family are in danger when the Las Vegas procedural returns for its 14th season.

Picking up where last spring's "Skin in the Game" left off, the premiere will see the CSI team in hot pursite of the Dante's Inferno killer. Having snatched bother Morgan (Elisabeth Harnois) and Jim Brass' (Paul Guifoyal) daughter Ellie (Teal Redmann), the serial killer has upped the stakes in what was originally a search for the culprit behind a sting of prostitute murders.

New promo photos form Spoiler TV hint at what is in store for the two abductees. Morgan and Ellie are show chained to two beds in a dingy room as the killer stands over them. Hidden behind a mask, it is impossible to tell who the CSI team must seek out in order to save their friends.

CSI returns to CBS on Sept. 25.
