Two sources debunked the rumors that Katie Holmes is dating Jamie Foxx following the leaked photo and video of them together.

The insiders shot down the dating rumors that the pair are secretly dating after they appeared to be more than friendly at a recent Hamptons event.

Holmes and Foxx both attended the 4th annual Apollo in the Hampton Benefit, a charity that raises funds to support New York City's famed Apollo Theater on Saturday.

An onlooker who attended the fundraiser said the pair danced and even witnessed Foxx grabbing the Dawson's Creek star's bottom. However, she rebuffed his advances.

"They danced, and after a hug he grabbed her butt and tried to seal the deal," the onlooker told Us Weekly. "She was flattered, but not interested."

The eyewitness said the pair are indeed friends, however their relationship is strictly platonic. Foxx starred alongside Holmes' ex-husband Tom Cruise in 2004's Collateral together. 

Holmes and Foxx "weren't flirting," said the source, but they "have been friends a long time."

Another source who witnessed Foxx putting moves on the divorced starlet said she had a good time.

"She seemed unsure at first, and then she got up on the stage and just started letting loose with everyone else," the second insider told Us Weekly in the same report. "She seemed really happy with the whole night and who was around her."

On Tuesday, New York Post's Page Six reported the pair danced together after when singer Lenny Kravitz performed American Woman.

A source told the newspaper they heard Holmes saying, "I haven't had such a good time in so long."

E! Online later published a photo of the pair locking arms at the event.

People reported Holmes made onlookers question their friendship when she also took sips from Foxx's drinks. Sources revealed when Foxx joined Pharrell on stage for his performance of Robin Thicke's Blurred Lines, Foxx pulled Holmes on stage to join him. She also stayed on stage when Foxx performed Blame It (On The Alcohol.)

Diaryofahollywoodstreetking.com was the first to report the dating rumors, citing a source who said that Holmes and Foxx have been hooking up for "a few months."

Holmes and Cruise divorced in August, 2012. They have once child, Suri Cruise, 7, together. Neither Holmes nor Cruise have stepped out with new romantic partners since their six-year marriage ended last August.
