Chris Evans has instantaneously worked his way to the top of the Fifty Shades of Grey movie cast rumors, as a Twitter picture posted of the Captain America actor alongside author E.L. James has now been heavily noticed.

Evans was featured in an Aug. 21 photo on the social network with James, who wrote the following message:

"Having fun... ;)"

Hollywood had stated that Evans looked strikingly similar to an image of the S&M-crazed billionaire that was sketched up last in 2012.

With his well-chiseled physique and piercing blue eyes, a majority of females undoubtedly wouldn't be opposed to the 32-year-old being the one to nab the role. However, his age may play a factor, as the Grey is described as 27.

"That jaw line and hair are totally spot-on to the rendering above. He would definitely have to work on that whole deviant-dude tip, though," stated the site.

Evans aside, other notables that have come up in contention for the Grey role is Sons of Anarchy Charlie Hunnam, South African model Bryce Thompson, and White Collar's Matt Bomer, amongst several others.
