Lamar Odom was arrested for DUI early Friday morning. 

TMZ reported that the 33-year-old basketball player who has been struggling with drug abuse was arrested in San Fernando Valley around 4am. The site noted that Odom was stopped by California Highway Patrol for driving too slow on the 101 Freeway and taken to a nearby station, where he was booked and is being held on $15,000 bail.

According to his booking sheet, he is listed as  6'10" and 235 lbs.

Enstars reported earlier that Odom has yet to be signed to a NBA team, after becoming a free agent on July 1. He spent last season with the Los Angeles Clippers, but the team has yet to renew his contract. 

Odom has been having a tough week since his drug abuse scandal hit news and rumors swirled about separating from wife, Khloe Kardashian. 

Thought reports indicated that he was missing for three days, his agent said that he was safe and sound, noting that his wife knew about his whereabouts.

According to reports, Kardashian has been sticking by her husband, but mom Kris Jenner doesn't think the basketball player deserves her. 

"Kris is desperate for Khloe to divorce Lamar," a source said. "She thinks he is bad news and that Khloe can do much better."

The source also revealed that Odom is no longer is welcomed in the family, since news swirled about his alleged drug abuse. 

"Another reason Kris wants Khloe to dump Lamar is because he has absolutely nothing to offer her or the family," the source said. "He isn't officially signed with any team. He won't go to rehab, and he is a bad influence on Rob Kardashian. Kris thinks that Lamar has tarnished the family name with philandering and drug use."
