Actors Alex Pettyfer and Rachel Hurd-Wood are reportedly being considered for roles in the highly anticipated movie, Star Wars: Episode VII.

According to Latino Review, Hurd-Wood is "the only actress so far to have auditioned for the key role of Leia's daughter."

While there hasn't been any confirmation yet as to which part Pettyfer may have auditioned for, it's certainly a possibility that he tried out for the same role that Beyond The Pines' Ryan Gosling and The Paperboy's Zac Efron did.

Hurd-Wood is mostly known for her work on Tomorrow, When The War Began and Dorian Gray, and Pettyfer can be seen on the big screen in The Butler and was in the Steven Soderbergh film Magic Mike.

Director JJ Abrams will begin shooting the future blockbuster in London in 2014. The script was penned by Toy Story's Michael Arndt.

Although rumors had circulated in July stating that he could be potentially be making his exit, it appears as though he's indeed onboard for the popular franchise.

Star Wars: Episode VII will occur around the time period following the events of Return of the Jedi. It's scheduled to launch on July 15, 2015. A fan-made trailer of the movie can be viewed below.
