Jiah Khan's mother, Rabbiya Khan, tweeted on Sunday a condolence letter written to her by a Canadian producer who wanted to cast the late Bollywood actress in one of her productions.

Stacy James Fry, president and CEO of Maya Media Inc., sent Rabya a letter on Aug. 31, almost three month after Jiah committed suicide in her Mumbai home. Fry apologized for not giving her condolences sooner and called Jiah "a great talent and a remarkable beauty with a sensitive spirit and a soulfull beingness." In the letter she revealed her plans to cast Jiah for one of her projects.

"I am deeply regretful and sad to hear of Jiah's death. I wish I had sent a note in recent months to reaffirm my desire to cast her in the series Mystics of The Maya, which my company had always intended to cast her in one of the title roles," the note read. "In fact was in love with her spirit from afar, and wish I had done more to keep alive her hopes and aspirations."

Jiah hung herself on June 3 at the age of 25. Rabbiya sent out a series of tweets in July blaming her daughter's boyfriend for Jiah's death. Rabbiya pointed the finger at aspiring actor Suraj Pancholi, saying, "When he did not love her then why hit her abuse her rape her and then kill her," "He killed her I have proof" and "They will get the evidence," among her other tweets about his connection to the death.

Pancholi, 22, spent several weeks in jail while Mumbai police investigated Rabbiya's claims that he abetted Jiah's suicide. In the end, no charges were made in regards to him having any involvement in her death and Pancholi was released from custody in July.

On Monday, Rabbiya uploaded onto Twitter a screengrab of a text message conversation she has with Jiah the day of her suicide but hours before she killed herself. The mother captioned the image, "on 3rd June morning my child was so happy" and also wrote, "Three months back it's 3rd today she was so happy in the morning did not know what will happen to her later."
