While actress Jodie Foster is currently in the spotlight for her role alongside Matt Damon in Elysium, she'll be switching her attention to going behind the camera, as she'll reportedly direct a season two episode of Netflix's House of Cards.

According to Vulture, Foster "is already on location in Baltimore, where the Emmy-nominated drama films."

The popular actress is no stranger to being at the helm for Netlfix, as she's already directed Lesbian Request Denied for its other hit series, Orange Is The New Black.

Foster had made her directorial debut in 1988 with an episode of HBO's Tales From The Darkside.

Interesting enough, House of Cards cast member Robin Wright (Claire Underwood) also got an opportunity to direct an installment, as IndieWire previously reported that she'll be directing an upcoming episode herself. However, it was her first time ever doing so.

Full-time directors that have called the shots for the Internet series include Fight Club's David Fincher, Glengarry Glen Ross' James Foley, One False Move's Carl Franklin and Batman & Robin's Joel Schumacher

While no air date for House of Cards has yet to be determined, the show is projected to start its second season at some point in early 2014.
