Andy Cohen is opening up about his relationship with boyfriend Kevin Sobieski, sharing heartfelt comments about how happy and surprised he feels to have found the right partner.

Speaking on his SiriusXM show "Radio Andy" on June 8, Cohen said he has always been careful about relationships and values his time and life deeply.

"I don't want to be with the wrong person. I value my time too much. I value my life too much," he said. He added that after years of waiting, "I am really happy to say that I met the person."

Cohen explained that he met Sobieski at a party in the summer of 2025. He said he almost skipped the event, but decided to go anyway. The two ended up talking all night, which marked the start of their connection.

From the beginning, Cohen said things moved slowly and carefully. According to Page Six, he described how they took time to get to know each other before making their relationship public.

"This man is kind and strong and smart and he is an adult and he loves my children and they love him and I love him," he shared.

Cohen, who is a father of two, also said introducing Sobieski into his family life felt natural. He explained that everything has gone smoothly so far, with no major disagreements in their time together.

In fact, Cohen said the relationship has felt unusually peaceful. "We just view life the same way and one year later I still can't believe I found him," he said during the broadcast, US Magazine reported.

The Bravo host also described Sobieski as a private person who is not involved in the entertainment industry. He said he wanted to keep the relationship quiet at first out of respect for that privacy and to build something stable away from public pressure.

Cohen shared that although he is open with his audience about many parts of his life, this relationship felt different. He wanted time before speaking publicly, even though recent photos of the couple holding hands in New York City brought attention to their romance.

"I just wanted to be smart and slow before saying anything about this," he said, adding that Sobieski is "so low-key."

The couple first became linked after being seen together in Miami and later at public outings in New York.
