Adam Levine, Jennifer Love Hewitt: Embarrassed by Comment

Appearing on Ellen on Friday, Adam Levine has reacted to Jennifer Love Hewitt's supposed crush on him.  The Voice coach recently became single after breaking up with his model girlfriend Anne Vyalitsyna of two years. Speaking of his split, Jennifer Love Hewitt had publicly revealed her crush on the Maroon 5 frontman (also on the same show).

Hewitt had told Ellen earlier, "I always have my eyes out...I just read two days ago that Adam Levine is single again..I'm just saying."

According to E Online, when asked about Hewitt's comments, Levine laughed saying: "I heard about that. That was aggressive...It was really sweet and flattering. Beautiful life, you know, when a beautiful woman says nice things about you."

In response to his comments, Hewitt tweeted: "The moment when you make a comment about something or someone and the world makes you feel like a total fool. keepcrushesquiet.

"Thank you to adamlevine for being so gracious on Ellen about my crush heard round the world. I've learned a lesson. Sssh."

In an interview with Paper mag, Levine revealed that he can be a "pain in the ass." He said: "That's part of who I am and there's not a person I know who doesn't think I'm a pain in the ass. But I'm also really nice and a completely affable and socially adept person. There's a difference between being an asshole and a pain in the ass."

He also spoke to the magazine regarding his views about marriage. "I want to study marriage. I want to learn about it I want to know it," said. He continued: "I want to figure out whether or not I want to do it. I'm not just going to leap into it, because that's not good for anybody."
