The cast of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation have begun shooting for their landmark 300th episode and have been kind enough to leak a few spoilers along the way.

Titled "Frame by Frame," the Alec Smight directed episode will air as the fifth installment of season 14. Penned by Gavin Harris - a veteran writer and producer of the Los Vegas based procedural - "Frame by Frame" will feature a look back at the lives of the investigative team over a decade earlier as they attempt to solve a crime in the present day.

It appears the case will take place in a casino, as indicated by a shot of the episode 1405 production whiteboard, thanks to a photo posted by the CSI Writers' Room

CSI Actor George Eads Put on Leave

"Ext[erior] Premiere Casino - Night: Dive down to the entrance of the casino. Hear a distant, ghostly voice of the concierge, welcoming casino guests," reads the direction for the opening shot. "Int[erior] Premiere Casino - Night: Push through the Hollywood-themed Casino. Something's odd...it's spooky, desolate. Move over empty roulette table. It's still, but we hear the wheel spin, ball clacking."

Marg Helgenberger Returns to CSI as Catherine Willows

While the inaugural scene will serve to creep viewers out in the style of Hotel California meets The Shining, fans will have the return of Catherine Willows (Marg Helgenberger) to look forward to. If her recent Twitter photos tell the truth, it appears the actress is very excited to be back on the CSI set once more.

CSI returns to CBS on Sept. 25.
