Another character on Game of Thrones has been recast for season 4.

Icelandic actor Hafthor Julius Bjornsson will be playing Gregor Clegane, otherwise known as The Mountain, in the upcoming fourth season. Bjornsson is taking over for Ian Whyte who has played The Mountain since season 2. Whyte himself took over for Conan Stevens.

"For all my fans! I am happy to tell you that I will be THE MOUNTAIN In season 4 In Game Of Thrones :)," Bjornsson tweeted on Tuesday.

Enstars recently reported the recasting of another relatively important character: Daario Nahalis. Michiel Huisman (Nashville) will be taking over for Ed Skerin in season 4 in the role of Daario.

In other Game of Thrones casting news, an actress has been cast for the role of Walda Frey, granddaughter of the vengeful Walder Frey (David Bradley) and bride to Roose Bolton (Michael McElhatton). Up and coming actress Elizabeth Webster will be playing Walda in the upcoming season, according to Game of Thrones fan-site Winter is Coming.

Additionally, Lu Corfield (EastEnders) has been cast a madame of Mole's Town, the location of a brothel near the Wall. The Night's Watch goes to Mole's Town for a night of fun in the upcoming season.

There is also a rumor that Locke (Noah Taylor) will be back for season 4 as a new member of the Night's Watch. Locke famously chopped Jaime Lannister's (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) hand off in season 3, episode 3, Walk of Punishment.

Season 4 of Game of Thrones does not have a scheduled premiere date yet, but it is expected to return in Spring 2014.
