Jay Z confirmed the dates for the North American leg of his Magna Carter World Tour on Sept. 6.

The rapper will kick-start his American set of dates on Nov. 30 in St. Paul, Minessotta; he will be making 34 stops in the country during the tour. Jay Z's tour date announcement coincides with Kanye West confirming the dates for his tour promoting Yeezus. Kendrick Lamar will be the supporting act on West's tour.

Jay Z's world tour is in support of his latest album, Magna Carta Holy Grail. The album, for which he received a platinum plaque shortly after the release of the album, just went double platinum.

Jay Z recently wrapped the co-headlining Legends of Summer tour with Justin Timberlake. The hip-hop magnate also curated the second instalment of the Made in America festival, which took place in Philadelphia over Labor day weekend. The lineup for the massive concert was studded with heavyweights like Beyonce, Nine Inch Nails, Kendrick Lamar, Deadmau, Phoenix, and Public Enemy. A film has been made around the concert, it will feature the making of the concert, behind the scenes footage, interviews with artists, etc. The film is directed by Ron Howard and will premiere on Showtime on Oct. 11.

General sale for tickets begins on Sept. 12 at 10 a.m., and will be available through Live Nation and Ticketmaster. But  fans have another option. A Facebook page has been set-up for the tour and fans can RSVP for early access and pre-sale tickets which will be available starting Sept. 11. Citi-card holders will be able to access the tickets earler, on Sept. 9 at 10 a.m.
