Rookie Blue is coming to an end, and the season finale of the ABC's summer hit-series will air next Thursday, Sept. 12.

Gregory Smith, who plays Officer Dov Epstein recently said the past episode, "Under Fire was "big," and he definitely kept his word.

The Sept. 5 episode was the first half of the show's Season 4 finale and it showed some intense moments even in the opening minutes of the television drama when Chloe was shot by a shooter who targeted Division 15.

Andy helped identify Kevin as the shooter, with the help of Oliver's girlfriend who said the suspected pedophile came looking for him at his house.

Andy and Sam tracked down Marlo, after they feared that Kevin was coming after her. The former couple showed up to her sister's house, thankfully she had been safe and sound.

At the end of the episode, it was revealed that Kevin was actually looking for Olivier the whole time since he initially arrested him two episodes ago. Kevin knocks Oliver to the ground with his gun, leaving him unconscious.

In the finale episode, the squad is on a mission to locate Kevin. He eventually shows up to the precinct and shoots Sam.

"Rookie Blue" stars Missy Peregrym as Andy McNally, Gregory Smith as Dov Epstein, Charlotte Sullivan as Gail Peck, Enuka Okuma as Traci Nash, Travis Milne as Chris Diaz, Peter Mooney as Nick Collins, Ben Bass as Sam Swarek, Priscilla Faia as Chloe Price and Rachael Ancheril as Marlo Cruz.
