Now on board to don the groundbreaking role of the S&M-crazed billionaire Christian Grey in the film adaptation of E.L. James' Fifty Shades of Grey, actor Charlie Hunnam has clearly piqued the interest of his female fans.

With the 33-year-old Sons of Anarchy standout now officially attached to the erotic role, many of Hunnam's admirer's are surely wondering how he'll be approaching the sex scenes in the movie.

"You know what, I had such a baptism of fire with regards to sexuality on camera at the beginning of my career. I starred in the British channel Four miniseries Queer As Folk where I played a young, gay character and there were some incredible, explicit sex scenes on that show," he told Variety.

With his vast experience and current maturity, Hunnam expressed that he wasn't too concerned with stripping down for the role.

"So I feel, and now I am 16 years older, and more mature so I don't anticipate them being too much of a problem. It's like anything else, just an exciting challenge," Hunnam added.

Fifty Shades screenwriter Kelly Marcel stated that she'd be staying true to the content of author E.L. James' books with lots of sex and raunchiness. The highly anticipated movie is slated to launch on the big screen on Thursday, Aug. 1, 2014. Be sure to keep checking back for more of the latest info on the film.
