The View returns today with a new member.

Jenny McCarthy is joining the ABC team following the departure of Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Joy Behar.

"Thx for all my good luck comments about 2morrow I'm nervous & excited. I promise to bring more cowbell and less guitar to the show. #theview," McCarthy tweeted on Sunday night before heading into her first day of work on Monday.

The show, which is entering its 17th season, welcomes the new co-host to the ranks with Barbara Walters, Whoopi Goldberg, and Sherri Shepherd.

"I'm beyond thrilled to be joining Barbara and the other amazing women at the table," McCarthy said, according to Sky News. "I look forward to helping make hot topics a little bit hotter, and showing my mom that my interrupting skills have finally paid off."

McCarthy is no stranger to the daytime talk show. According to ABC, the 40-year-old actress has been on the show 17 times already, including 8 stints as a guest host. For McCarthy's first airing as an official co-host, the Santa Baby star will be interviewing her current boyfriend, 43-year-old Donnie Wahlberg. The couple met on McCarthy's VH1 talk show in March, according to Us Weekly.

The View airs on ABC at 11 a.m.
