Survivor host Jeff Probst revealed his predictions on some of the new players that will be competing in the upcoming season.

With 10 pairs of returning players and loved ones, Survivor: Blood vs. Water should have many different dynamics to it. Probst and others know how certain returning players like Rupert Boneham and Colton Cumbie play the game, but their loved ones are more of a mystery. Probst talked to Entertainment Weekly in a Monday report about which new castaways to look out for.

"Colton's fiancé Caleb [Bankston] - he's one of my favorites to win," Probst revealed. "He's so likable. And he's capable out on the field, in the water, and I think he's gonna sway a lot of people. I think he'll even sway Ciera [Eastin] to change her mind about gay rights!"

Survivor: Blood vs. Water Cast: Rupert, Tina, Aras & More Return to Compete With Loved Ones

Eastin is competing with her mother, Survivor: Samoa contestant Laura Morett, who both share strict religious values.

"I don't know exactly know why I'm pulling for Ciera, but I am because I see a young person who is very committed to who they are," Probst continued. "Even though I don't agree with who they are politically and I don't agree with their views, I like that she's made so much of her life in such a young bit of time, and I could see her doing very well."

Survivor: Blood vs. Water Cast: Candice Replaced Philippines Contestant for New Season?

Probst added that Survivor: Borneo contestant Gervase Peterson's niece, Marissa Peterson, would also do well in the upcoming season. He argued that she is the "2.0" of Gervase and will play the game well. Probst also thinks that Survivor: One World contestant Monica Culpepper's husband Brad will also interact well with others and get far.

As for partners who could do well in the game together, Probst listed Survivor: Panama winner Aras Baskauskas and his brother Vytas as contenders to get all the way to the end of the game.

Survivor: Blood vs. Water is scheduled to premiere on Wednesday, Sept. 18 at 8 p.m. on CBS.
