To both the excitement and sadness of its fans, USA's hit crime drama, Burn Notice, will be airing its highly anticipated season 7 finale episode, which will bring the popular program to an end.

A snippet of information from the script was recently put up on Burn Notice's  Facebook page, teasing loyalists with a conversation between the likes of Michael (Jeffrey Donovan) and Madeline (Sharon Gless).

The two characters speak about Michael's son Charlie (Wilson Pennell), who is fast asleep during the respective scene. While there are other bits of chatter in the script that were blacked out, it clearly addresses the topic of Charlie's birthday.

Although many TV series like to go out on a happy ending, Donovan confesses that the typical scenario is unideal for Burn Notice, according to Zap2it.

"Though we've been humorous throughout the years, there's always been an underbelly of seriousness and tragedy, and I don't think we could properly end the series with a bow tie and smiles on everyone's faces. I think the audience knows there has to be some sort of tragedy to show how important their journey was over the years," he said.

USA's Burn Notice will be airing its finale, Reckoning, on Thursday, Sept. 12 at 9/8 p.m. Be sure to keep checking back for more of the latest details on the TV series.
