A popular Icelandic band will be featured on the upcoming fourth season of Game of Thrones.

Icelandic alternative band Sigur Rós will allegedly be appearing on Game of Thrones at some point in season 4, according to a Tuesday report by Entertainment Weekly. Band members Jón Þór "Jónsi" Birgisson, Georg Hólm and Orri Páll Dýrason are shooting an episode on the Game of Thrones set in Croatia.

As for why the band will be there, it is being kept secret to the public. However, many commenters in the Entertainment Weekly article agree that the band will likely be playing at Joffrey (Jack Gleeson) and Margaery's (Natalie Dormer) upcoming wedding.

Game of Thrones showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss said that they would often listen to Sigur Rós when filming on location in Iceland, according to the report. They are both longtime fans of the band, whose most popular songs include Hoppipola and Sæglópur. The band is also famous for their music video for Fjögur píanó, in which actor Shia LaBeouf appears in the nude.

Sigur Rós is one of many alternative bands in which the producers of Game of Thrones have enlisted over the years. The National performed the now-infamous song The Rains of Castamere for the Game of Thrones soundtrack and The Hold Steady performed The Bear and the Maiden Fair. Both songs were heard in the third season of the fantasy series.

Season 4 of Game of Thrones does not have a scheduled premiere date yet, but it expected to return in Spring 2014.
