Tamar Braxton revealed her post-baby body and newborn Logan Vincent Herbert on the cover of October's issue of Ebony magazine.

The singer and reality star is barely recognizable with her darker hair, much different from her blonde do.

The 36-year-old new mom opened up about her abusive past relationship saying it has changed how she handles relationships today.

"I haven't always been vocal about my feelings, especially in a relationship," she told the magazine. "Now, I make sure that I'm very vocal about my feelings, everybody knows how I feel."

In an episode of Tamar & Vince, Braxton revealed being pulled by her hair by an ex-boyfriend, but never gave additional details about what actually happened. She said she's not ready to open up about the abuse, but hints that she may candidly talk about it in the future when she's ready.

Nowadays, Braxton is focused on her healthy relationship with husband Vincent Herbert and baby Logan.

Although she previously expressed fears of being a first-time parent, Braxton told Robin Roberts on ABC's Good Morning America that parenting is "going great."

"Logan is the love of my life. He's a great kid and he sleeps all night," she said.

Enstars reported earlier that Tamar said she's been getting a lot of help and advice from her family.

"Motherhood is great...I'm loving every moment of it...My mother gives a lot of advice. Toni gives a lot of advice, and I'm making sure I raise my baby to the best of "their" ability (laughs)," Tamar said in an interview.

Braxton's latest album, Love & War is currently in stores now.
