Living doll Venus Palermo, also known as "Venus Angelic" has gained internet popularity this month, along with living barbie doll Valeria Lukyanova, for making her appearance look like an actual doll.

Palermo has nearly 13.5 million views to date on her official YouTube Channel "Venus Angelic" and the views are rising.

The 15 year old dresses up in doll's clothing and make up, posing as a  "living doll". She has been posting tutorials on how to achieve the realistic doll-like look. 

Despite her young age and critics saying that her videos are provocative, her mother stands by her and supports what she does. 

As reported by the DailyMail, Palermo said: "I get lots of messages from young girls. They tell me they love the way I look and they want to be like me."

Her mother absolutely supports her and said: "Venus has enjoyed dressing up since she was a child, and this is just  an extension of that. She has got her own mind.

"As a parent you have to understand that, in some instances, if your child is determined to do something, they will find a way to do it no matter how much you forbid them. Besides, I don't see any harm in it at all."

Palermo's mom also appeared on UK TV's Daybreak and said that Venus is simply an "innocent and good girl who likes frills and ribbons."
