NBC's hit crime drama, Law & Order: SVU, is set to take a page out of the world of politics for its upcoming fifteenth season, as the program is said to be intentionally airing an episode that's loosely based on the controversial Anthony Weiner, and it will reportedly revolve around him sexting young girls.

However, Showbiz411 stated that the individual portraying Weiner will instead be of Hispanic descent. To top off the latest buzz, the site also reported that the creative brass is still undecided on whether they'll choose to have the future installment ending with the character giving a middle finger to the voters just like Weiner did.

In other Law & Order: SVU happenings, a new promo pic of Benson (Mariska Hargitay) has recently surfaced showing her in the midst of a serious struggle with her kidnapper Lewis (Pablo Shreiber).

In the photo, Olvia could be seen tied up to a chair in front of Lewis. She has duct tape on her mouth with her hair flopping in the air, a clear indication that she's attempting to break free.

Law & Order: SVU is set to to make its return on Wed., Sept. 25 at 9/8 p.m. Central Standard Time. Be sure to check back for more of the latest information on the popular program. A promo video for the upcoming premiere can be watched below.
