After Charlie Sheen broke his silence about why Selma Blair was axed from Anger Management, she threatened to file a retaliation lawsuit against the show for taking asking her to leave unfairly.

The duo had a falling-out when Blair accused Sheen of taking too much time to learn his lines for the show and making the rest of the cast wait for him. Blair believes that as being the reason of her being fired from the show. It was also reported that Sheen relayed to her news of her firing in a strongly worded text in which he called her a "c****."

Blair demanded that she be paid the $1.2 million she would have made if she would have continued working on the show, sources told TMZ. She will file a lawsuit if the show's producers refuse to do so.

Sheen explained why it was time for Blair's character, who plays Sheen's love interest in the show, to make her exit during his guest appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno Wednesday.

"One of our primary characters, Selma Blair, who played Kate, was written out because [the show] was not about our relationship, and the problem was too many people were still excited about the Two and a Half [Men] character and thought the Anger Management character was a little dull," the actor said.

"So, um, that is not the case anymore," Sheen added while addressing the perception that his character was boring. "Her character leaves, and I start circling the drain. So it's really fun to watch and hella fun to play."

Anger Management airs at 9:30 p.m. on Thursdays on FX.
