Several new clips for the series finale of Dexter were released late Sunday night.

"I always thought that if I left Miami I would be running for my life," Dexter (Michael C. Hall) says in the trailer for the series finale. The trailer features Dexter threatening Elway (Sean Patrick Flannery) to stay out of his life and explaining that he should've killed Saxon (Darri Ingolfsson) when he had the chance.

The trailer also picks up in the events after Saxon shot Deb (Jennifer Carpenter) in episode 11. "I've done s--- I'm not proud of," Deb tells Quinn (Desmond Harrington) while lying on a stretcher. "I thought maybe I was getting what I deserved."

Showtime also released two clips of extended scenes from the series finale. One features Deb and Elway's conversation at the hospital. Elway asks Dexter if he's getting back with Hannah McKay (Yvonne Strahovski), to which Dexter replies that he doesn't know what he's talking about. Elway threatens Dexter that a storm is coming and that it's going to be hard for Dexter to find a way out.

The second clip features Deb and Quinn in an ambulance. Lying on the stretcher, Deb tells Quinn that she thought she was going to die and admits that she probably deserved to. Quinn reassures her that she's a good person - a lot better than most.
