'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' Star Caroline Manzo's Spinoff, 'Manzo'd With Children' Gets Green Light To Film Pilot
Sources have confirmed reality star Caroline Manzo has been given the green light to film the pilot for her own spinoff show.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey star has even landed a tentative title for the new reality show starring her and her family, according to an insider.
Manzo'd With The Children will follow her as the "ringleader of the crazy circus that is her Italian family," a source told Gossip Cop.
It will feature Manzo, her sister Fran, husband Albert Manzo and their three children-Albie, Chris and Lauren, according to the report.
Reality Tea reported on Tuesday the show will feature their crowded house "filled with personality, laughter and ham... in both pig and honey-baked forms."
The blog wrote that the spinoff show, however, isn't a "sure thing." Bravo will decide whether to pick it up for a full season after the pilot is filmed and has been reviewed.
New York Post's Page Six column was the first to report the Manzo family will get their own reality show. The series will revolve around their life working at The Brownstone, the business that has been in their family for 40 years, according to the report. The Brownstone is a lavish venue available for booking parties that also offer catering services in Paterson, New Jersey It has been featured in RHONJ. Albert works at The Brownstone daily with his brother Tommy Manzo.
Another report suggested at the time that Manzo's show may be a backup plan in the event Caroline's RHONJ co-stars Teresa Giudice and her husband Joe Giudice does not return for season 6 of New Jersey Housewives. The husband-and-wife team was indicted for 39 charges related to fraud on July 29.
A show insider reportedly told Life & Style that Teresa Giudice is "jealous" about Caroline's show-- she had been pitching her own spinoff show idea prior to her indictment.
"Teresa thinks Caroline's show's going to be boring," said the source.
