Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlberg's romance is heating up.

The View co-host gushed about her new beau, telling EnStars, "He is brilliant, beautiful and amazing."

The pair, who started dating over the summer, are taking things slow. When asked if she saw an engagement or wedding in their near future, McCarthy admitted, "Right now, I am very happy just dating."

Last week, the New Kids on the Block singer appeared on The View, as her very first guest on the show. McCarthy revealed that she made the special request.

"He was booked to come on the show later to promote Blue Bloods, and I said, 'Can you just switch the date to be my first guest?' " she said.

"Him coming on the show was by far the sweetest thing he's done for me so far," she revealed. "He isn't into the personal stuff and, well, I'm an open book, so he went above and beyond. It was very romantic."

McCarthy also revealed that her new beau has also spent quality time with her son, Evan.

So does Evan approve of his mom's new man? "So far so good," McCarthy said.
