Paris Hilton slammed her ex-best friend Kim Kardashian in a recent interview.

Heat magazine asked the Hilton heiress -- who once starred on the reality show The Simple Life -- about her former friend and the reality series Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Hilton reportedly told the publication, "reality TV is a lot of hard work, and Kim has done well for herself."

"I don't watch reality TV now, because I don't have time," she added

She then took a dig at Kardashian's reality show.

"As far as I'm concerned, The Simple Life was the best reality TV show going, and it turned 10 years old recently. It's timeless, iconic and you can still watch it."

Hilton revealed that the producers of Simple Life asked her and former co-star Nicole Richie if they could get together to film a reunion show, but their schedules wouldn't allow them to do it. The socialite has been busy as a DJ and recently completed a residency gig at Amnesia nightclub in Ibiza, Spain.

Richie wed Good Charlotte frontman Joel Madden in December 2010. The couple have two children -- Harlow, 5, and Sparrow, 4.

"They wanted us to do a 10-year reunion show recently, but Nicole and I were both too busy," Hilton shared.

When asked if she and Riche are still friends she replied, "of course!"

"We've been friends since we were two years old and we will always be close. I'm so happy for her with her family. She's so cute now."

 Richie co-starred on The Simple Life for the first three seasons. When the friends had a falling out, Richie was replaced by Kimberly Stewart for season 4.
