Fans across the country will get the chance to interact with the stars of NCIS: Los Angeles while watching the season 5 premiere.

CBS has announced a live tweeting line up as part of their #CBSTweetWeek. Utilizing Twitter, Instagram, and Vine, the network is making moves to step up interaction between devote fans and their favorite actors.

NCIS: LA is set to return on Sept. 24 with "Ascension," a follow up to the season finale cliffhanger. Series regulars LL Cool J (@LLCOOLJ), Chris O'Donnell (@chrisodonnell), Eric Christian Olsen (@Ericcolsen), Daniela Ruah (@DanielaRuah), Miguel Ferrer (@Miguel_J_Ferrer) will log onto social media at 9 p.m. ET to discuss the climatic premiere with viewers.

Picking up where "Descent" left off, the season opener will focus on wrapping up the Sidorov (Timothy V. Murphy) and Janvier (Christopher Lambert). The team must pull together to rescue Sam (LL Cool J) and Deeks (Olsen) from the tortuous grasp of Siderov while Kensi (Ruah) tries to keep Sam's wife, Michelle (Aunjanue Ellis), safe.

In the meantime, relationships between the team members will be affected by the past traumatic events. Deeks will reportedly strengthen his bond with the distrustful Sam while he will also have to untangle his romantic feelings for Kensi.

NCIS: LA returns to CBS on Sept. 24.
