The awards show will broadcast live from the Nokia theatre on September 22. How I Met Your Mother actor Neil Patrick Harris will host for the second time.
The Television Academy will provide free livestreaming of Backstage Live! 2013 beginning at 7 p.m. EST/4 p.m. PST.

The Academy is providing it for the fourth year in arrow. It will offer behind-the-scenes action from several camera angles including backstage, celebrity red carpet and the arrivals at the annual Governors Ball.
The Governors Ball will follow the end of the Emmys beginning at 10 p.m. EST. It is considered the largest annual formal sit-down dinner that will be attended by 3,800 people who will sit at 400 tables, according to CBS News.
It will be held in the West Hall of the Los Angeles Convention Center. It will feature a separate section called "Emmy Winner's Circle" for the night's winners. Guests will be provided entertainment from an orchestra, The Red Hot Band, Australian singer Jessica Mauboy and more according to the report.
Backstage Live! 2013 also will allow viewers to engage with the staff through social media. They will provide quizzes and opportunities to chat live. Simply use the hashtag #Emmyschat during the live stream hours. Viewers can also send congratulatory notes to the night's winners with the hashtag #EmmysCongrats.
