Jim Parsons snagged the 2013 Emmy Award for outstanding lead actor in a comedy --- his third Emmy in the last five years.

During his acceptance speech, Parsons gave a shout-out to his love of more than 10 years.

"[Thanks] to my favorite person on the planet, Todd Spiewak," he said into the mic. 

Parsons beat out Louis C.K. ("Louie"), Alec Baldwin ("30 Rock"), Don Cheadle ("House of Lies"), Jason Bateman ("Arrested Development"), and Matt LeBlanc ("Episodes").

Parsons plays nerdy astrophysicist Sheldon Cooper on The Big Bang Theory.
