Kelly Ripa Doesn't Want Husband as Co-Host of Live! With Kelly

"Live! With Kelly" host Kelly Ripa doesn't want her husband, actor Mark Consuelos, to be co-host of the show fearing it will end their marriage.

In an interview for Vanity Fair's June issue Ripa give her perspective on him:

"No one would make me happier than Mark, but he values our marriage and he says he doesn't see how we could stay married and both do that show," according to the Huffington Post.

Live! with Kelly is looking for a new co-host after Regis Philbin exited on November 2011.

In the meantime the show has welcomed several co-hosts that are auditioning on-the-air to land the position.

Ripa and Consuelos have been married since 1996 and have three children, Michael, 14, Lola, 10 and Joaquin, 9.
