The synopsis of the third episode of Season 5 of The Good Wife suggests that Alicia Florrick (Juliana Margulies) might decide to stay on with Lockhart/Gardner.

In the second season, it was revealed that Alicia was planning on leaving Lockhart/Gardner to start her own firm with Cary Agos (Matt Czuchry). But the synopsis suggests that Will Gardner (Josh Charles) will catch wind of Alicia's secret plans and do something to deflect her from the course that she is on and keep her at the firm.

Here's the brief synopsis of the third episode, A Precious Commodity:

"Will makes Alicia a stunning offer which causes her to reconsider her plans to leave the firm. Also, the partners take action when Diane's Supreme Court candidacy puts her at odds with her colleagues."

These new details add to the speculation about the fact that Alicia's quitting the firm will set-off a maelstrom of negative events.

Earlier this month, Margulies said that her decision to leave the firm Lockhart/Gardner will spur a "bloodbath," speaking about her character arc in the fifth season of the show.

"It's going to be a really tumultuous time, I think," Margulies added. "You're going to be on a whirlwind and then there's going to be an explosion. It's going to rock everyone's world on the show."

In an interview with TV Guide Marguiles said that the most important thing to realize will be that her character, Alicia, and Cary can never be Will (Josh Charles) and Diane (Christine Baranski).

"The uphill battle will constantly be, 'Did I make a mistake?'" she said. "There's going to be a lot of tension and a lot of friction and a lot of heartbreak. Diane and Will will end up feeling, when they find out, like she stabbed them in the back. And she did."
