The trailer for Jude Law and Emilia Clarke's film Dom Hemingway has been released.

The comedic crime drama film is written and directed by Richard Shepard (The Matador) and also stars Richard E. Grant (Withnail and I).

Law plays the role of the titular character, a notorious safecracker who is back on the streets of London after having done 12 years in prison. He is now looking for payback from his boss Mr. Fontaine (Demian Bichir), who owes him for keeping his mouth shut during his time locked up. Grant portrays Hemingway's best friend Dickie, who watches out for him and travels with him when he gets out of prison. The film was shot in the south of France, which is where Hemingway travels to see Fontaine and claim his reward.

Things go awry as Hemingway's boozing ways, coupled with his massive ego, get in the way of his plans. He later realizes that he needs to reconnect with his long lost daughter, Evelyn (Clarke), but manages to botch that up as well.

The film also stars Jumyan Hunter as Lestor (the son of Hemingway's enemy) and Madalina Ghenea, who plays Paolina (a femme fatale who gets Hemingway off track).

The first half of the trailer has Hemingway celebrating his freedom and indulging in extreme debauchery, until he wakes up bruised, battered and hungover. He has flashbacks of last night, which feature Paolina seducing him. Realizing he lost his money and looks like a complete wreck, he lands up at his daughter's doorstep. The clip also shows a lot of comical interactions between Hemingway and Dickie.

The film premiered at the Toronto Film Festival on Sept. 8.

Dom Hemingway will release in theaters on Nov. 15 in Britain and early next year in America.
