When NBC's The Voice kicked of season 5 tonight with blind auditions, former winner Cassadee Pope marked the occasion by releasing her latest single.

Titled Champagne, the former Hey Monday singer pulled the new track from her upcoming album, Frame by Frame. Set to be released on Oct. 8, the record will be the 24-year-old's first full length as a solo act.

"When I get to walk in a store and see my album on a shelf, it will be so rewarding," Pope said, according to Billboard. "That's my creation. I'm going to make sure that if it's in the back, I'll put it in the front. That's what you've got to do."

Although Champagne was intended for release tomorrow, Pope decided to premiere it a little bit early.

"Here's one more new song for you all before I release #FrameByFrame on Oct 8th! "Champagne" is now on @iTunesMusic," Pope tweeted on Monday night.

In the meantime, the singer remembers how terrifying it was to perform each week on The Voice.

"Knowing that each week could have been my last was very nerve wracking," Pope told Billboard. "At each stage, I realized that I didn't even think I would get this far. So, even if I did go home, I know I made it further than a lot of people - and I should be grateful for that."
