Los Angeles Clippers star Blake Griffin revealed Monday he became a father for the first time after a woman named Brynn Cameron gave birth to a little boy named Ford Wilson Cameron-Griffin on Aug. 1.

In a statement to The Los Angeles Times, Griffin confirmed the birth.

"We are very happy to have a healthy baby, but respectfully request to keep our personal affairs private and let us focus on parenting our son," he said in the statement.

The actual birth of Blake's boy is not necassarily what's making headlines, but instead it's Brynn, the 27-year-old former women's basketball player at USC, who is also the mother  a 6-year-old boy named Cole Cameron by former USC quarterback Matt Leinart.

Brynn and Leinart dated while attending USC, and shortly after their breakup she announced she was pregnant with her first child. Drama ensued that resulted with Brynn being awarded child support for the their by a judge. Multiple reports have indicated that Griffin and Brynn are no longer dating since she gave birth to baby Ford.

Brynn's brother, Jordan Cameron also played USC football. He now plays for the Cleveland Browns as a tight end and scored three touchdowns in Sunday's win at Minnesota.

Reports have indicated that Jordan is dating supermodel, Erin Heatherton.

Brynn has another brother, Colby, who is currently a free agent QB like Leinart. He set numerous passing records while attending Louisiana Tech and spent time training with the Carolina Panthers this past summer.
