Miley Cyrus went topless for the Oct. 10 issue of Rolling Stone and in her cover story talked about her good girl gone bad image.

The 20-year-old Wrecking Ball singer is spread on the magazine's cover wearing only various pieces of jewelry as she covers her chest with crossed arms and leans against the edge of a pool. Black eyeliner is smudged around her blue eyes and she sticks out her tongue at the camera as she licks her shoulder. Her blonde hair is slicked back to reveal the buzzed sides and two of her many tattoos are evident in the photo: the dream catcher on her rib cage and the cross of two arrows right above her right elbow.

The issue is the first time Cyrus is on the cover of Rolling Stone.

Miley Cyrus' Harper's Bazaar PHOTOS & VIDEO Interview

For her interview with the magazine, the reporter followed Cyrus to a tattoo parlor where she got two tattoos on her feet: the words "ROLLING" on her right foot and "$TONE on her left.

The former Disney star then opened up about her controversial VMAs performance with Robin Thicke, her celebrity friends (she called Kanye West her "homie"), her childhood and her thoughts on what others have to say about her sexed-up new image.

"People are like, 'Miley thinks she's a black girl, but she's got the flattest ass ever.' I'm like, I'm 108 pounds! I know!" she said about her image.

Referencing her VMAs performance, she added, "Now people expect me to come out and twerk with my tongue out all the time. I'll probably never do that s--t again."

The Hannah Montana alum also notes that her duet with the Blurred Lines singer was not necessarily supposed to be steamy.

"I wasn't trying to be sexy. If I was trying to be sexy, I could have been sexy," the self-proclaimed "kind of a semi-nudist" said. "I can dance a lot better than I was dancing...America is just so weird in what they think is right and wrong," she continues. "Like, I was watching Breaking Bad the other day, and they were cooking meth. I could literally cook meth because of that show."

Cyrus -- newly single after she and fiance Liam Hemsworth announced their split earlier in September -- opened up about her friendships with other musicians and revealed that she wants to "mentor" Justin Bieber. One celebrity she is close with is rapper West, who visited her before her VMAs performance.

"He [comes] in and goes, 'There are not a lot of artists I believe in more than you right now.' The whole room went quiet. I was like, 'Yo -- can you say that again?!'" she said. "I just kept repeating that over and over in my mind, and it made me not nervous."

West recently bought her five pairs of fur Celine slippers after she mentioned that the ones she owned were falling apart, Cyrus admitted.

"Kanye is the s--t. I kind of have a good relationship with him now," she added. "It's good to have someone you can call and be like, 'Yo, do you think I should wear this?' 'Do you think I should go in the studio with this guy?' 'Do you think this is cool?' That's what homies are supposed to do."
