The Google-produced Nexus 5 will arrive on Oct. 14, and along with it, Google will also push out the 2013 build of the Nexus 10, according to multiple reports.

International Business Times is convinced listed three evidences supporting the assertion that Google will unveil something big in mid-October and Christian Today noted that Android fans "can keep their eyes on October 14 if they want to get their hands on one." A mid to late October release date would also mean the device comes with the latest version of Android: the 4.4 KitKat.

That same Oct. 14 date was supported by a source known to be reasonably accurate, according to Slash Gear.

The Nexus 4 was launched on Oct. 29, 2012, replacing the Galaxy Nexus, launched before that on Oct. 19, 2011. Coming out with its own speculation, Pocket-lint reported that the pattern suggests a late-October launch date for the Nexus 5.

Recent documents from the Federal Communications Commission suggest that the Nexus 5 has been through the certification process, which typically happens in the run-up to device announcements. LG was the manufacturer for the Nexus 4; it has not been confirmed who will build the Nexus 5. Names flying around include Motorola and Asus.

Rumored specifications of the Nexus 5 include 2GB or 3GB of RAM, a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor chip, a 1080x1920 display made using Corning Gorilla Glass 3 technology, and a 2,700 mAh battery. Footage leaked via 9to5Google, added weight to the 5-inch display rumor and appeared to show it running on Android 4.4 KitKat. Rumors continue to point out that the device will have a 5-inch full HD resolution display and 4G LTE capability.
