The truth about baby Connor's eye condition is revealed on Wednesday's episode (Sept. 25) of The Young and the Restless.

Before Chelsea and Adam go to the hospital, she confronts him at his penthouse. She knows Adam hired someone to follow her -- and adds the guy following her isn't subtle.

Adam says he's keeping his son safe and has also hired two nannies.

Chelsea brings up Dylan and says he still wants him in Connor's life. But Adam won't hear it. "I don't want him near his son," he yells.

After bickering for a while, the two realize they need to stop fighting and focus on their son's eye condition.

Later, at the hospital, Chelsea tells Adam arrive for the baby's appointment -- as Dylan watches through the window before leaving to visit a therapist for his Post-traumatic Stress Disorder.

The doctor arrives and tells Chelsea and Adam that their baby will go blind, but he doesn't have the inherited, degenerative eye disease, retinitis pigmentosa! He actually has tearing from a traumatic birth.

Adam blames Chelsea for giving birth in a dirty warehouse -- as she cries and sobs, "It's all my fault!"

In the waiting area, Avery gets into it with Chelsea blaming her for Dylan's recent problems. Avery shouts, "Because of you, Dylan is broken!"
