Though Apple's latest software iOS 7 has only been available for a week, the company has already released two updates to fix bugs in the system.

The latest update, iOS 7.0.2, fixes the problem present in the original iOS 7 that allows users to bypass the iPhone's lock screen. The system allowed anyone with physical access to get into the phone, make calls and view personal photos. The iOS 7.0.2 prevents users from bypassing the lock screen while also bringing back the Greek keyboard for passcode entry.

The new update is available for download and installation on iOS 7 devices under Settings > General > Software Update.

The method of entry involved the user sliding up the Control Center menu, tapping the timer button and pressing the power button until the option to cancel pops up. Next, the user presses the cancel button and presses the home button twice. This sequence allowed any user to access personal data.

The iOS 7.0.1 update was less crucial to users but important nonetheless. The update fixed a bug in the iPhone 5s that disobeyed users from using the new Touch ID fingerprint scanner for the use of iTunes store purchases.

The iOS 7 provided an almost entirely new interface for those familiar to the iPhone. More software updates are likely to occur as Apple tries to fix bugs and prevent hackers from stealing information.
