The wait is nearly over for fans of CBS' Blue Bloods, which will be making its return tonight for season 4.

Marisa Ramirez, who plays Det. Maria Baez on the show, recently spoke to TV Fanatic about what the program's loyalists can expect to see in terms of her character's development, moving forward.

"I heard there's stuff coming that I don't really know what it is and I'm not one to ask a bunch of questions but I've heard that some stuff is coming for me. So, I'm excited about that!"

Ramirez also dished on her character's dynamic with Danny (Donnie Wahlberg), and how their case-solving partnership has been a success thus far.

"They're just getting along like great partners, just really working as a team, and having fun together and just going off of each other's personalities, but it's fun solving cases together and stuff and there's definitely a lot of teamwork and they haven't been butting heads at all. Who knows, maybe that's coming too. I don't know," she added.

CBS' Blue Bloods will kick off its fourth season on Friday, Sept. 27 at 10 p.m. EDT. Be sure to check back with Enstars for more information on the hit show.
