Colin Kaepernick has been rumored to be dating actress Sanaa Lathan after a picture of the two looking cozy emerged online. 

The San Francisco 49ers quarterback recently shut down rumors that he was in a relationship with soccer player Sydney Leroux, but he has now been linked to another celebrity thanks a picture he posted on one of his social media accounts. 

This past weekend, Kaepernick uploded an Instagram photo with Lathan, captioned "@sanaalathan this."

Sanaa added more fire to the dating rumors when she reposted Kaepernick's picture and added her own comment, which read, "xoxo."

The actress is almost 20 years older than him, as she is 42 and he his 25. 

Sanaa, is the daughter of Stan Lathan and is best knows for her roles in Love & Basketball, Brown Sugar and Something New.

Sanaa is good friends with Gabrielle Union as they co-starred alongside each other in Love & Basketball. In the past, the girlfriend of Dwyane Wade said she enjoyed dating younger man because it was one of the reasons that kept her youthful. 

"Dip into the kiddie pool ladies, it worked for me!!!" Union told People magazine. 

Sanaa is gearing to release the sequel for the movie, The Best Man. 

"Everyone in the cast is excited and on board, and I think people will be really pleasantly entertained to see where these characters have evolved over the twelve years," she said in an earlier interview with Ebony magazine.
