Taylor Swift opened up to Glamour U.K. about making mistakes in the public eye, not being able to find the right guy and the possibilty of her dating another celebrity.

The singer -- whose past boyfriends include Harry Styles, Joe Jonas, Jake Gyllenhaal, John Mayer and Conor Kennedy -- described what kind of man she is looking for and what she considers a "deal-breaker" in any relationship.

"Here's what I've learned about deal-breakers. If you have enough natural chemistry with someone, you overlook every single thing that you said would break the deal," she told the magazine, before explaining her stance on the topic of cheating. "I've seen my friends take someone back after they've cheated because they fit perfectly but I don't know, because I've never had a perfect fit with someone."

The tabloids paint an image that she is constantly dating someone new if she is merely out in public with a guy, but Swift said, "I think you'll find it has a lot to do with being a woman. And I resent that."

"That there has to be some downside to your personality or lifestyle if you're a woman and successful," she added. "But I'm not gonna say to my guy friends, 'No, I can't go to lunch because people will say we're dating.' I just reject the idea I have to change the way I live my life."

Dispute the false claims that surface many times, Swift said the media will not scare her away from dating another celebrity. She also knows that whenever she does date, it will create a media frenzy.

"You can't say, 'I'm never gonna date a high-profile person in the arts!' But whoever I date, famous or not - whether I ever date again! - all chaos will break loose. With fabrication and frantic obsession and who likes who more and how it ended. But right now is easy because I'm single and happy, and it's very relaxing."

Addressing her status as role model, she said there is room for mistakes.

"There's clearly room for role models who are made fun of at award shows. Not that I necessarily enjoy being poked fun at, but that's gonna happen to the fans, too. Whether in a board meeting or in school or on Facebook, where they'll get humiliated publicly."

"It's not just about standing on top of the mountain with the wind blowing in your hair, looking fabulous," she added. "My priority is not seeming like the coolest person in the music industry, or hardcore, or like some bombshell."
